Bloody Brilliant: Bodyform Releases First Ever Advert With Period Blood

Code red, red alert - many, many period puns coming your way ๐Ÿฆ‘๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿฆ€

That's because something bloody cool has just happened. Feminine protection brand, Bodyform, have released the first ever UK sanitary towel advert to depict actual images of blood. The 20 second clip shows blood dripping down a woman's leg in a shower and red liquid being absorbed by an example pad as opposed to the usual unrealistic blue shit. The ad also shows a man buying a packet of Bodyform in a shop, on his own, without embarrassment. SHOCK.

The advert is part of Bodyform's campaign #BloodNormal which aims to get rid of the 'Period Taboo'.  In an online survey of 10,017 men and women, Bodyform found that 74% of them wanted to see more realistic representations of periods in advertisements. So that's what they're doing.

Bodyform have also released the UK's first and only black liner, specially designed for black underwear. This totally redefines every girl's pair of shitty 'period' pants. Yusssssss

Next up - girl walking down beach with tampon string hanging free?

One can only dream.

Yes, blud
